Fall 2020 update
Island Marine Adventures will be closed from October 30th 2020 until March 31st., 2021. The catamaran Shadowfax will be out of the water for its yearly maintenance cleaning updates and overhaul.
This summer was actually very busy and most importantly we have all remained safe. We have had no Covid issues.
Over this past summer we have had many additional wonderful TripAdvisor comments. Please check them out.
We will still be available to take bookings for 2021. There is no cost for this but can help ensure that you have a tentative date for the time you choose. Call me for details.
Thank you for having given us this amazing 2020 experience.
Thanks again and please keep safe!
Island Marine Adventures and COVID-19
Island Marine Adventures will still be offering services but with some important changes.
During these extraordinary times of the COVID-19 pandemic some changes to our operations are necessary to ensure the health and safety of our clients. Our operations will be based on the directives and guidelines made by the Provincial Health Officer and the Minister of Health.
Initially, in the beginning of May, we were offering 1.5 hour or 3-hour Catamaran sailing /cruising adventures or Inflatable Zodiac rides to Single Individuals or Family Members Living in the Same Household. These restrictions have been gradually lifted to allow not only family but friends to come together and enjoy being outdoors on a comfortable and spacious catamaran while still complying with social distancing requirements.
Non contact forehead temperatures are taken before you board and we also provide you with hand sanitizers prior to boarding and de-boarding
We do sanitize boat surfaces. Bring your own masks if needed.
A client contact list will also be obtained from you or your group to keep for Covid -19 follow-up if needed.
Access to the boat will not be allowed:
If you have a cough, fever or flu like symptoms.
If you or a member of your household has had sustained contact with an individual or someone who has been quarantined by public health due to exposure to COVID -19.
Our priority during these challenging times is the health and safety of our clients and the community at large. We will continue to operate in compliance with The Provincial Minister of Health and Medical Health Officer.
Please note that we can still arrange a A Celebration of Life or the Ashes to the Ocean Ceremony.
Note: As of November 20, 2020 we are again being given new guidelines. We will keep you informed of details in the spring as they become available.
Thank you for your patronage.
